it entirely depends on whether you have the passion for your course or not. if you absolutely love your course, then long term attachments/projects is good for yourself (learning) and experience (resume).

if you are like me, regret to have join your course. it's better to choose 3), where you don't need to commit 6 months into an industry you don't like. go, finish, come back, finish, run away. :D

For me,I prefer the 3rd Choice-2-month intership program and final year project ( FYP ),whereas my proj is graded,attachment is either pass or fail grade,then we will have extra 2 months of holiday too for that semester,I'm sure every poly students wan too :D

Maybe the next time after for me I have graduate from Poly next year,who knows that I might be employed from the internship(Same Company) that I have work during Proj Semester :D

6- month project design & development
you could expand your network through the fyp, then the chances to secure a job is higher
besides that, project could give you more relevant knowledge on what you have studied.

Very Soon I will be final year poly student this October semester,sure time flies,my 2 Reliable Indian classmates(Sreejith and Chutukanan) have pick me as their projmates,I'm honoured as so far their studies r very good so far,I don't have to worry about next Semester :P

U go to the company learn real-time working experience,
and u get to work on projects on a industrial standard..

some advice:
fyp wise.. chose people you can work with and not always those top scorers.
you will need a team which can work together. not a team that is made up of individuals who think they are always right.

That's depend for final year proj if we choose the 3rd one-as what Applelion has mention quite true,as long as all your groupmembers can cooperate and willing to share with their ideas with U,U help them troubleshoot their portion and they do likewise for your case if either of their or your side can work,every group member including you will benefit too and have better grade :P
