I don mind sharing with u about me,More details on me U can look at my Introductions here,Thanks :)
My Poly:Temasek Polytechnic
Pros:Nearer to my home,I stay near Punggol (50mins away,take Bus27 followed by transfer Bus 15 or 23)
The lecturers r nice too willing to guide u along when u have any problem, but u must help yourselves reading the notes,if only u have tried and don understand, look for them in the Staff Room :)
Cons:Even though Proj r stress or assignment that have to be submitted on time, otherwise marks will be deducted :(
Secondly, when come to Groupwork, your classmates may not bother about their work and this might affect your grade as well when come to GroupWork as it is graded too :(

Conclusion:As long as u feel comfortable which poly to go to with the course u like,it's ok :P

To Ai fang:I have added u as your friend here, feel free to add me if u wan,I won't force u,I respect your decision too :)

freshie here,
school: np
pros: most lecturers understand what you are weak in and is more than willing to help you. teaching systems are engineered to build up the mentality to win and allow student from different division to mix around(CATS class, SnW).food prices are reasonable and generally cheaper as compared to hawker centre.

cons: too much air-con( certain student like to turn down the temperature so that they can sling on their flashy jackets making those student without any jacket catxh a cold or something at the end of the day. over dependence on air con. use more electricity, produce more CO2, contribute to globalwarming:p). very few cca in ngee ann are best amongst the other polytechnics.

I dun think this will benefit any future poly students because most of us are BIAS.

If I am from NP, OBVIOUSLY i will try to promote NP etc etc. The above comments from everyone are ridiculous as there are no basis for comparison.

Here are some of the examples:

"cons: food prices"
seriously if you care about food prices when you chose your school, u are a joke.

"Proj r stress or assignment that have to be submitted on time, otherwise marks will be deducted"
Isn't all school like this =.= duh. Depends on the lecturer not the school.

"Good learning environment, lecturers are good and are willing to help out student who are weak in certain modules."
lecturers are different for different modules, depends on luck.

"too much air-con"
Fail.

I think if you really want to know if you like that poly, you should personally go to the open house and experience how poly feels like:the environment, courses, etc. You are going to be there for 3 years, a little effort wouldn't hurt.
