Which CCA can get more CCA points?

Actually what i think is that is better for us to get cca points at yr1 then concerntrate on yr2 onwards as it will be quite busy.

its easier to earn points in yr 1 and 2. yr 3 will be busy. so get more involved in cca during the start... hav a balance of CCA and studies. u will turn out to be a talented student.

now my friends (i'm in year 3 le) all chionging for CCA points, then busy like siao. hahahahas.

anyways, i think CCA points would prove something when you go out to work in the future. They don't exactly say something, but when your employer sees your CCA score, he can tell what kind of person you are.

Plus, having more CCA points would mean better testimonial too! excellent for future uses:
Testimonial is one of the key essential in employment.

leadership too. PEARLS participation is the lowest if i'm not wrong.cause u just attend something to get the participation points.

ya the participation one is the extra one.
easy to get. cause whenever u participate in any stuff they will just give you.
so it's like a small percentage only. the leadership and services stuffs are the one that will lead you to get gold for CCA points

Let's consider person X and person Z..

X has been getting A grades for all tests and even exams. Which means, X has been a top student for three whole years of Poly life. Even in Attachment. But, X has not even one CCA because X doesn't consider CCA as an important part.

Z is not that of a genius compared to X. Z has only been scoring B grades, which is a disadvantage to X. However, Z does have a CCA, or maybe even two. And Z has been proactive in his CCA, example would be NRA club.

Both X and Z want to go to a University, example is Nanyang Technological University. Both try very hard on their academics studies, but Z tries harder due to participation in NRA. Now who has a higher advantage of going to NTU?

Of course it is Z.

Why? Because CCA will surely help to get a scholarship.

In conclusion, get a CCA now!!! Join NRA, dragonboat, board games club, or even your own school society club!

4 my case,i'm a Temasek poly student Alan from Diploma in Electronics 2nd year just completed my 1st Semester result,for CCA,I do not have specific,as when there's any activities,I will try my best to chuck myself fit in when i'm free usually held on weekdays,like a traveller to and fro,my CCA report is already Excellent(50 points & above) with 3 more Semesters 2 go,u can say just join a few activity will do,more free time 2 focus on my academic studies,over our poly 1 to 19 points participated,20 points to 29 points satisfactory,30 points to 39 points good,40 points to 49 points very good and so on,usually our side being involve in a activity gives u at least 5 points 4 your recognition :D

well i dont think the more CCA point u got means you have higher chance of getting scholarship. Not quantity, quality is the one u shld focus. For example, person A participate in talks, all those things and get 30 CCA point. but person B who onli have 12 CCA point and his record is that he achieve a gold medal in WSS, or some competiton. I think person B will get it. Good CCA record dosent mean must have more CCA point, it means the things that you join can make you qualify for the scholarship.

For CCA right, if u wan fast cca points, just join Photo Video Special Interest Group(PVISIG). As long as u go for every event and tk pics, your cca pts will shoot up sky high.. haha
