Meet up is quite dangerous, you might not know who is on the other hand, a robber or something, on the other hand, it only helps a handful of people (as you cant ask 100+ ppl to meet up for a learning session).

In forum, we can easily post our problem, suggestions and ppl can input different point of view,

more input = more accurate ^^

I was thinking that Poly is somewhere in the middle of transition for some people. Why not have forums for ITE students who wants to make it into poly and forums for universities for poly students who have made it to universities?

If there are boards for this, then maybe we can more enquiries about something for eg admission, criteria, success stories and whatnot. And also, can help boost up member count cause people will not be constricted to just poly life. :)

Not at all. We just need to do the forums like how we do the Poly ones. And then if people have any questions, they can just ask in those forums, provided that the forumers have answers to it.

Cause recently, many have expressed the interest to join poly and as current poly students, we should indulge them in poly life!

Just my two cents and random thoughts. It could bring more members in as well!

creating a branches as you mention is possible, but not for the current stats...as Polytalk now still have lots in beta and developing, maybe in times to come the advice may be considered.

What you have suggested may need not only a admin and a admin assistance only, but a few forum moderator, as admin himself may not be able to cope of handling such a a big group.

I believe that in time, there would be a requirement for moderators. But this forum is just growing and hardly any issues with the members thus far so I suppose it's alright for now. If we see posts which are abusive and whatnot, we can just report the post to help the admins out for now.

i suggest integrate a live chat function... eg, chatbox or etc..
but the maintenance fee is very high.. afraid admin can't tahan, unless put some ad on this forum..

But one thing bad about all this tag and live chat is that any ppl can come in and post a advertisement....i receive a lot of Viagra and condom advertisement, which is totally absurd....and some ad even have virus on thier webpage, once you go in, you will automatically download the virus...or even spyware...
